I’m Lee Buteau. I’ve been an Executive Host since 2011. Before joining the Indiana Grand Racing & Casino team, I served customers in a variety of fields ranging from the retail industry to the food services industry in various operations and management roles and also spent some time in law enforcement. Working as an Executive Host at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino allows me to meet new people and also interact and entertain guests who visit frequently. I like helping guests as much as possible…the bigger the smile…the happier they are…and my goal is for everyone to have a great time. KAREN DAY – HOMETOWN: RUSH COUNTY, IN
I’m Karen Day, an Executive Host at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. I started working at the casino in February of 2009. In my previous role as a Slot Department Supervisor, I was able to work one-on-one with all of our guests on the casino floor. I always like to take some time to get to know new guests and I also enjoy visiting with our guests who have been coming to our casino since we opened. I come to work every day ready to provide the best service possible to all of our guests. I’m Nick Venice, and I’ve been in the gaming industry for more than 10 years – mostly working with horse tracks and off-track betting locations in the Chicago area, Anderson and downtown Indianapolis. I was part of the team that opened our sister property, Hoosier Park’s Winner’s Circle. As one of Indiana Grand Racing & Casino’s newest casino host, I’m excited to share my horseracing enthusiasm with you! I’m Jackie Lawrence. I’ve been a Host for the Player Development team since May of 2010, and was recently promoted to the position of Player Development Executive. I have an extensive background in customer service. Prior to joining the Indiana Grand Racing & Casino team, I spent more than a decade in the airline industry providing the best service to customers so that they would have a wonderful travel experience. I’m committed to delivering the same level of top-notch service to our players here at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. I’m Jim Mackie. I’m a 12-year veteran of the gaming industry, and I’ve been with Indiana Grand Racing & Casino since December of 2008. In my role as Director of VIP Service & Relationship Marketing, I oversee my team of Executive Hosts and Player Development Executives to make sure that they are providing the highest possible level of personalized service to our guests, and that each and every one is treated like a true “VIP”. I’m proud to say that we have one of the best Player Development teams in the Midwest region. I’m also very proud of our exclusive VIP amenity program.
