Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will be lighting up the Center Bar Stage over the next five months with some favorite bands of the past. The 2015 Legends of Rock Free Concert Series will kick off with two performances by Ambrosia on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 8 and 9:30 p.m. All shows are free to guests 21 years of age and older.
Performing together since 1970, Ambrosia produced five Top 40 hit singles from 1975 to 1980. Their most noted song is “Biggest Part of Me” with other notable songs including “How Much I Feel” and “You’re the Only Woman.”

Positioned near the main entrance of the casino, Center Cut provides a wide array of entrees, featuring the finest cuts of beef complemented by seafood, chicken, pastas and abundant sides. Steaks range from traditional cuts of Rib Eye, New York Strip and Filet Mignon to specialty items such as the Grecian Rib Eye, topped with artichoke hearts, onion, red pepper and feta cheese.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino announced on Thursday its ‘Legends of Entertainment’ concert series lineup featuring the talent of Restless Heart, Exile and Juice Newton, and Sha Na Na. In total, five free concerts will take place at the casino’s Center Bar stage on a monthly basis beginning in January and running through May.
Restless Heart has enjoyed one of the most successful group vocal careers in country music history, placing more than 25 singles on the charts. With six consecutive #1 hits, four of their albums have been certified Gold and gone on to win a wide range of awards and nominations from many organizations – including the Academy of Country Music’s Top Vocal Group trophy. The group is best known for country classic hits such as “I’ll Still be Loving You,” “When She Cries,” “The Bluest Eyes In Texas,” and “Why Does It have to be Wrong or Right?”
A near capacity crowd attended the New Year’s Eve celebration at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino that began Wednesday, Dec. 31 and moved into the wee hours of Thursday, Jan. 1. Many activities were included, with eight wedding ceremonies taking place and a new Indiana state record was established for the most Scratch-Off lottery tickets revealed at one time as 1,000 guests took part in the session.
Shelbyville Mayor, the Honorable Tom DeBaun, conducted eight ceremonies beginning at 8:30 p.m. as couples said “I Do” in the New Year’s Eve Wedding Chapel. One couple waited until the clock struck midnight to “tie the knot,” becoming the first couple of 2015 to wed. Many guests stopped to watch each ceremony with couples receiving a gift as well as wedding photos, all courtesy of Indiana Grand.
